1. KADDU EMMANUEL

Kaddu Emmanuel is a 6-year-old orphan from Kamugombwa Village, Ssazza Parish. He lost his father and now stays with his mother Ms Nakiweewa Agnes. He was born with Varum deformity (Rickets).

2. KISAAKYE PASSY

Passy Kisaakye is a 4-year-old girl from Sanje village in Rakia District. She was involved in an accident while playing with her friends. She fell down and had a fracture of her right leg.

3. ANGELLA

Angella was suffering from prolonged kwashiorkor resulting from severe malnutrition. She was provided with nutrition rehabilitation at Kitovu Nutrition Unit, a temporary placement at Nsambya Babies Home where she received comprehensive nutrition care. She joined a school and was attached to a foster family.

4. ALBERT

Albert (5 years from Kitovu village) is suffering from Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus. He can’t use his lower limbs and therefore couldn’t use the latrine at home and at school. He was provided with a toilet seat (assistive device) to help him use the latrine. Her parents were overjoyed.

5. ARNOLD

Arnold (4 years from Kabasese Village, Bukakata) could not stand and walk. His lower limbs were extremely weak. He was provided with physiotherapy, a walker, affles and kafols. His condition greatly changed, he can now stand and walk on his own. He has joined Nursery School.

6. NAKAYI DAPHINE

Nakayi Daphine, 13 years old, was identified from Bukakata staying with her mother Nangobya Rose a single mother. She was born with club feet. She was operated on twice at the National Referral Hospital but the clubs reappeared after 3 months. Due to financial constraints her mother could not go back to the hospital for surgery.
